That side of UCC is very close to town so you'd be better off using the city centre for shopping! Town is less than 10 minutes from the main gate :)

Thanks, but is there anything right next to UCC, like a small convenience store. The only places i know in Town are the Dunne's and Marks and Spencer

There are shops on College Rd - largest, I think a Centra, has a deli - nearest gates would be by Elec. engineering. They are dear enough though being small convenience stores.

There are two Costcutter stores on College road, one just outside UCC, the other in towards town a bit. Centra is on Western Road, by the Western Gateway Building. Tesco Express is located at Victoria Cross.

There's a Tesco in town as well, in Paul Street. It's about 20 minutes walk from the college. Small shops are way more expensive, your weekly shopping in any of the places right next to college would cost a bomb! Tesco Wilton is about 25 minutes away in the other direction. The English Market in town is good for fruit and veg and deals on meat etc. as well.
