    Hi!

I'm a first year student starting in Trinity college. I am from outside Dublin and have no connections in Dublin. I didn't get into Trinity Halls so I am just wondering if anyone knows anything about accommodation in Dublin?

I am looking for somewhere to stay, preferably with other first years going to trinity. Is anyone looking for a roommate? Does anyone know any good places to stay , maybe near halls or trinity itself, somewhere other Trinity students stay.

Have no idea about this so any info would be appreciated! :)

I've my name down for Griffith Halls in case I don't get into the halls.

Think around 40 first year trinners there.

Don't panic, if you can't find anywhere else, you can arrange accommodation for a month or commute for a month, and let the accommodation office at halls know, because rooms will become available in the 2nd or 3rd week and if they know you really need somewhere to stay you'll be top of the list :)

Did you think Griffith was expensive? something like €500 application fee?

Yeah that's what I'm thinking of doing, although commuting isn't an option for me ( im from waterford!). But maybe finding digs or a B&B and staying there for the first month or so! Thanks for the help!
