    Can traffic directing gardaí still report you? I think I may have broken a red light in front of one. (stupid I know) but i'm really worried.

    Yes of course they can. They are still Gardai on duty with the same powers as any other.

    Very unlikely to report you though without having pulled you over.

    If you hear nothing in the next six months, you're out of the woods.
