    Hi

    Brahma 330ml 12pk, Becks 275ml 15pk, Stella 285ml 15pk and Stella Vier 275ml 12pk. Any 3 for €20.
Seems good to me, have drank Brahma and it's really nice.

APOLOGIES TITLE WAS ORIGINALLY INCORRECT, OFFERS START WEDNESDAY

Just realised there are other beers included in the 3 for €20.

    Budweiser 330ml can 12pk
    Carling 500ml can 8pk
    Harp 500ml can 6pk

    Other offers available from tomorrow:

    Miller 500ml can 12pk €15
    Heineken 500ml can 12pk €15
    Budweiser 500ml can 12pk €15
    Guinness 500ml can 12pk €15

    and especially for 2smiggy:
    Bulmers 500ml can 12pk €15

Oh yeah, and a wine festival starts too for all you wino's. lots of half price wines and I'm guessing here, but I suspect there may be a percentage off multi buy wines. Not 100% on that one though at the moment, so I could be wrong

    "Any three for 20e"?

So three twelve packs for 20? Forgive me for being a little suspicious.

The only thing I see are these for a tenner.

    Druids 8. (500)
    Carlsberg 8. (500)
    Dutch Gold 12 (500)
    Beck 12 (275)
    Brahma 12 (330)
    Stella 15 (284)

    Pg 12-13.

    What's your suspicion???
Two if the products are 12pks and two are 15pks. The deal will be any 3 for €20. It starts tomorrow and the deals you are quoting are unrelated and end tomorrow.
Your quoted deals are cans, mine are bottles. Didn't think I needed to make that clear as they don't sell 275ml cans.

It's not a children's allowance day target it's a three week cycle that happens to change tomorrow and every 3weeks after that too.

No worries. I didn't wanna say they were all bottles as was afraid people would think ibeas saying all bottles were in the deal and it would just get confusing.

Stella Vier is just 4 percent isnt it? not sure though.

decent deal, pity they have no cider on offer, enev though it 40 for 24 cans of bulmers at the moment .

for the normal stella, even works out cheaper than the 24 x 330ml bottles for €15. only down side more bottles to recycle :p

Or while stocks last. The official start date for this promotion is Wednesday.
I do t think there will be any supply issues so this offer should be available for the full 3 weeks.

Hmmm, do they fully appreciate the scenario of Irish people and cheap beer? Think I'll go early just in case :D

Nice one though OP, I know when I see 'Jarvis' and 'tesco', it's gonna be an awesome reliable offer

    Budwater 330can 1.68/L
    Carling 1.67/L
    Harp 2.22/L

Miller, Heineken, Budweiser, Carlsberg, Guiness 500ml can 2.5L

From memory isn't carling 5% and bud 4.5% so Carling totally wins in the drunk stakes not 100% sure though.

These were €20.00 for 12 last week

I edited the original post to include The bulmers deal so that's why 2smiggy's comment looks odd.

Vicwatson, I updated posts to show deals aren't available till Wednesday.

    They're all from Wednesday people.

Stella 4 i.e. a lower strength 4% alcohol Stella, the standard product is 5%.

I'd imagine the 3 15x285ml for €20 Stella comes out the best value as it is 5% strength as well..

ya, the stella is really great value. Also cheers for the update on the cider :D

    +1.
According to price news most of those boxes of bottles are €10 each. Although it is from 1/9/11.

The Stella is pretty solid value either which way. I'm stocking up :)

Those little bottles are half pint bottles (so 2 of them makes up a standard pint of 568ml).

    At 15 for €10 that's €1.33 per pint (€1.17 per half litre).
    At 45 for €20 that's €0.88 per pint (€0.78 per half litre).

    For a rough comparison:
The standard Stella €20 for 24x330ml works out at €1.41 per pint (€1.25 per half litre)

Valid for almost a full month as well to October 7th!

So there was no need to get up at 5am to be first in the queue then! :(;)

the normal stella offer of 24 x 330ml bottles for €15 is still slightly better than this stella offer (plus less bottles to recycle)

usually a cider or stella drinker from the off licence, what is brahma like ?

Brahma is grand, fairly neutral but not as weak as budwater, almost no hop taste, slightly sweet, nice cold, but you certainly wouldn't recommend one at room temperature so its not for bush drinking kids, camping or sneaking into festivals :-p. Apparently Brahma is the best selling beer in the west; outside the US that is.

Personally I'd drink it over stella because stellas got that grim aftertaste.

I just googled stella aftertaste to see if it was just me and found this great site nice way to waste away your lunch break:

    http://beeradvocate.com/beer/profile/2444/23381
    http://beeradvocate.com/beer/profile/169/449/

A friend of mine moved to the UK in January and brought over 48 different beers, ales and bitters for me to taste. It was an education. It's a bit like you've been eating cooking chocolate all your life and someone gives you a box of Leonidas.

Can anyone confirm they've got this offer on in Tesco Dundrum - don't want to waste 2 blips parking if the offer's not on there!

    Thx!

...can't brain today. I have the dumb.

Yeah, the mistake was in writing not in the calculation. 284*2=568.

Not really sure why that became 574 in my head.

12 bottles of stella not 15 makes this a bad deal anyhow. Will be passing on it.

Thanks jarvis for the heads up - got this deal today 2 x Brahma and 1 x Beck Vier. Was delighted to get to the back of tesco this morning and see the "3 for €20" signage :D

Not suprised its on till October with all those thirsty students back in college...

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 1,519 ✭✭✭Oral Slang

This was advertised in Tesco last night in the drink isle. Got 2 Stella & 1 Brahma, but when I got home they'd charged me €10 per case, rather than 3 for €20, so an extra €10. No sign of a start date, just that the offer is over on the 4th of October. Will have to call in tonight & get my money back.

Is it double the difference they give you or what's the standard now?

Ah I wouldn't be that fussy, I don't mind the normal Stella. As long as there's no bad smell off it it'll go down a treat.

Just in case I might pick up a few of the others too ;)

In Tesco Drogheda, the Budweiser was dated 4/10/11 what are the others dated?
