Stream to Android tab?

    I have an Asus Transformer and am looking into the possibility of setting up a NAS with wireless router so that I can stream movies etc to it. Does anyone have any experience of this or know if it is feasible? A lot of my films are straight DVD rips that have not been converted - could the tab cope with them or would they need further converting?

    Was trying to achieve this though mapping a file share from my Android Tablet to an SMB share, but having problems with Astro reporting "File type xxx not found". No matter what type of file it is.

    Am now looking at setting up Subsonic on NAS server (linux). Will let you know if it works. Has Android app.

    Does the NAS do uPnP? If so try this without PS3 Media Server

    Thanks. I haven't invested in anything yet...I wanted to see if it was feasible before blowing a wad of cash.
