1TB drives seem to be getting a bit small for storage nowadays so why not go for the Dlink model and get a 2 or 3 Tb drive if it will support it. ;) You seem to be stuck with the 1TB drive as your only option on the Amazon site.

Its price more than anything why I said the 1TB. Dont have much to spend and from what im seeing, getting a good bay is more important than the hdd.

    Several options.

    - Seagate GoFlex network drive
    - WD MyBook Live

Or any advanced N router with a USB port. Several Netgear units have a USB 3.0 port that can turn any USB drive into NAS-space. Netgear also does a pretty nice NAS-rack in it's own right, but the Buffalo units are reputable too.
