    hi guys was wondering if any one can help was looking at trading my car for 06 320i se model bmw would any one know if there is any common faults i should look out like timing belts sensors or anything you can think of so i could make up up my mind on it or not, thanks

    no timing belts or timing sensors on E90's

    best advice is get it independently check out by a bmw mechanic

    I'm a BMW mechanic myself and although they are a nice car common problems exsist such as rear pivot bearings wearing you can tell if the inside of the rear tyre is wore also the abs pump and control module is a known fault and can be costly sometimes but all in all a great choice of car and I'm always on hand to help anybody with BMW problems

    i know this is somewhat unrelated, but is it possible to stop runflat tyres wearing the outside edge so much, ie by adjusting the tracking a little
