True story: I once heard of an African person who worked in a place, before I was there, named Happy. His wife's name? Lucky.

There was also a gal who worked in an old job who's surname was Dic-Willie.

And then a French gal I worked with in another job called Xtititaes or something like that. The important part was the pronunciation: Titties. I worked as a floor manager at the time and would make up jobs for her to do, just to have an excuse to yell across the corridor "TITTIES? CAN I BORROW YOU FOR A SECOND??"

Ah I'm not slagging them. They're probably really popular. How could anyone hate someone named Happy?

Murty. Who in their right mind would call their child that? It sounds like someone pumped air into a bucket of slurry.

I know someone who named their kid Eddie a few years ago... bit funny considering his surname is Murphy.

Gobnait is one I don't like the sound of, but Sherniece is the worst name I've ever heard a mother shout at a daughter!

Are you sure she wasn't shouting at her niece ("Here, niece") and just really drunk?

Nope. Skobe on a train. She spent the whole trip chatting up two dodgy-looking youngfellas while her toddler climbed over the other chairs in the carriage, and shouted at the little girl any time she got to the far end of the carriage. Shocking parenting. But that's for another thread!
