Signed a commercial lease without bank concent

Hi, We signed a 10 years lease for a commercial shop without bank consent. Our solicitor didn't notice it until last month, he said the landlord's solicitor removed Mortgage/interest part from pre lease list, therefore he was misleaded by LL's solicitor. If we knew there was no bank consent, we wouldn't sign the lease as it's very likely LL has some difficulties with the bank, etc. We don't want to continue staying the shop because of this reason. Will we be in trouble if we want to break the lease? If we need to take resposibility of the rest of the lease, will our solicitor pay all the panatiles for us because of his careless? I really don't know what I need to do? Please help.... Thanks.

You need to discuss your options with your solicitor. He has the information to make an informed decision.

You need to get a new solicitor. Your existing solicitor may well have been negligent.
