Hi all, I just bought a Fujifilm Finepix S9500 through ebay, only to realize post-sale that the Viewer software wasn't included. All I can get online is the software upgrade, not the original program. Anyone have any ideas where I can pick it up?

I've no real idea where you would get finepix viewer, but would say that unless it's improved significantly since I had a fuji that you'd be far better off using something like picasa, is there a reason you specifically want viewer?

    Because the camera manual says:
Refer to Section 5 the first time you connect the camera to your PC.
Install the software first. Do not connect the camera to the PC before installing
    all the software.

Now, I've contacted the original owner of the camera who claims he never used the software, but instead just hooked the camera up directly to the PC, but I'd hate to do anything that would somehow mess up any of the mechanics. Any suggestions?

I can't imagine how you could do the camera any harm by connecting it up to the PC without finepix installed, it should just show up as a removeable disk drive in windows explorer and let you copy the files across to the computer.

If all comes to all you have the option to pop the memory card out and use a card reader to connect it to the computer and get at your pictures that way.
