Hey all, just wanted to ask everyone if they know whether a BA39-00764A Rev 2.0 cable could be replaced by a BA39-00766A Rev 2.0 cable in a Samsung NC10 netbook and function correctly? The laprop is approx. 3 years old, has no warranty and has been diagnosed with a faulty screen cable, so a DIY replacement can't make the laptop much worse than what it is.

PS. I can't afford a new laptop, so please don't suggest getting a new one.
