Hi, sorry if this has been asked before, but I can't seem to find it in any of my searches.

You're supposed to be able to book your ticket here www.voyages-lelan.be but in the ''select country'' option, there's no Ireland. Is it cool to just select the UK and pay with your visa?

    Thanks!

I got one straight outside the front door. Its a pretty small airport so there is not many buses.

My advice is to spend the extra for a flight to brussels international in Zaventem. it costs a little extra, but the bus will take at least 2 hours to get to the city, the train might cut 45 mins off (train station is a 10 min bus ride from airport also). brussels international, go downstairs, trains every 20 mins straight to gare du nord, gare centrale, and gare du midi. fare is about 4 euro, small price to pay for the time and hassle saved.

I agree with Spacedog, its worth paying a bit extra to avoid this airport. I spent hours there on a sunday afternoon a few years ago because there were only 2 buses on sundays, one in the morning and one in the evening. My flight was late afternoon so myself and many others it appeared had to take the morning bus and drink alot of airport coffee for the day.

While I agree that you should definitely fly in to Brussels if possible I have to say that I've flown into and out of Charleroi 5 or 6 times and it never took 2 hours to get into Brussles, it's usually over an hour though.

By the sounds of it you might have booked your flight already so that moght be academic, I never booked the shuttle online, there's a kiosk that opens when flights land and you can buy them there easily, it's a tiny enough airport and it's well signposted.

Thanks for the replies. It's my brother that's flying into the airport and we're meeting at Gare du Midi, but I just wanted to have my bus ticket for when I'm going back with him to the airport. I'll try and book it saying I live in the UK and see what happens!
