Hi Just set up a Digihome Saorview box which works great and is easy to set up and picture quality is brilliant. I can record a programme no problem on an external hard drive and it plays back fine on the same tv. But if I try to play it back through a Humax Foxsat, it wont play. Hi
Just set up a Digihome Saorview box which works great and is easy to set up and picture quality is brilliant.

I can record a programme no problem on an external hard drive and it plays back fine on the same tv.

But if I try to play it back through a Humax Foxsat, it wont play. The drive is reconised as it will show the photos I downloaded on to it, it shows the folder "sda1(1)" and whin I click on it it shows "dvr(3)" and when I click on that, "storage(0)".

Any ideas on how I v=can get it to work on the Humax?

incompatible file formats.

what are the file extensions .ts?
you will probably have to change the file format
