I wouldn't think so somehow, you wont be able to collect your payment if your out of the country because they don't pay into your bank account anymore and you wouldn't be able to sign on once monthly either.

That's just my guess though

It's possible - but only for Jobseekers Benefit, not Jobseekers Allowance. You should inform the office well in advance of the 4 weeks specified and get form filled and all info sorted because posters here have had threads about how long they waited for payments abroad, mostly waiting for the SW office here to send the necessary paperwork abroad.

    Transfer of jobseeker's payments abroad
If you have been getting Jobseeker's Benefit in Ireland for at least 4 weeks and wish to go to a country covered by EC Regulations to look for work, you can receive this payment abroad for up to 78 days. To obtain this you must inform the office where you 'sign-on' at least 4 weeks before you leave so that the necessary arrangements may be made in time.

In the other country you must 'sign-on' within 7 days of the date you last signed on in your local Social Welfare Office. For more information on transferring your Jobseeker's Benefit, contact EU Records Section at the address above.
