IT MIGHT BE A CASE OF THE CISTERN FILLING VERY SLOW OR INSUFFICENT WATER SUPPLY in the cistern AND causing the user to use the lever excessively to flush the wc and damaging the seal on the syphon.taken of the cistern lid. time how long it takes to fill and look for a water line mark in the cistern and that will tell you where the fill should stop.take a photo of the cistern with the lid open full of water and time its fill.post them here and you will get an answer.

Your toilet could have some sort of blockage between the pan and the cistern ,sometimes getting a coat hanger up inside where the water comes down can clear it.

Just before I go ,how are you having trouble with the toilet ,does it flush right at all ?

NTW ,you'll get hassle with your syphon if theres a slight blockage between the pan and cistern. If the water doesn't move freely enough ,you won't get a proper syphon.

how long is it taking to fill and is the pan removing waste products (brown trout ect) with ease.is the pipe on the back of the pan on a fall or at least level.not rising.do you have youg children.do you put any kind of cleaning tablets or anything similar in the cistern.are you sure the plumber is replacing the syphon.

Defo sure plumber replacing siphon each time , no small kids, or using blocks in cistern . all seems in order with waste pipe. not removing waste on initial flush seems like its too weak.Plumber has never come across it before
