    friend of mine is currently a 3rd phase mechanic, got offered a better job, but the mechanic doesnt have FAS cert, has City & Guilds so my question is could he go under this mechanic?? also if he took the job will fas come out to new workshop to check up?? think hes ringing the fas office tomorrow, just said id see if i could get any info on here! thanks

    If he is not a qualified mechanic FAS won't allow you to continue on with the new chap. If he is qualified well then I think he needs a registered business.

    see thats the thing plug hes quilified with city and guilds its just my friend doesnt know if FAS will allow him to train under him
