Mitch Connor for me, from what ive seen on the Man.United thread and elsewhere he seems a very insightful poster.

He has a great knowledge of the PL, and whenever he makes a point he backs it up well.

    Just my 2c!

Can we change our vote after we vote?

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 12,832 ✭✭✭✭Blatter

The least objective? I think you meant the most :D.

Very difficult to pick from that list, there are alot of knowledgeable posters there, will have to think about it.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 7,672 ✭✭✭ScummyMan

I also think you should make the poll public, so you can see the c*nts that voted for themselves :pac:

    Voted opr.

I think there's a mistake in the poll. I couldn't find 'Sean Bateman' on the list.

    Slicric imo

EDIT: Who the hell is smackbunnybaby?

It was close between Mitch and Tom Brady but I voted for Mitch.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 25,560 ✭✭✭✭Kess73

    Actually quite a difficult choice.

I think all the guys I said would be good PL choices in the Committe thread are listed.

I think I may have to set up some kind of knock out tourney using their names and a coin flip to decide each round until I have one left.:D

    What's it for?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 25,560 ✭✭✭✭Kess73

    First round coin toss results.

Fla vs Mitch - Mitch wins

OPR vs Handsome Bob - HB wins.

Voltwad vs Helix - Volt wins.

Slick vs Frisbee - Frisbee wins.

    Second round coin toss.

Mitch vs HB - Mitch wins.

Volt vs Frisbee - Volt wins.

The final and best of three flips.

    Volt versus Mitch.

    0-1
    1-1
    2-1

    Volt wins, Volt wins. :D

Cherish this moment Everton fans, it's as close as you are gonna get to a winning final this year.;):pac:

Pity we could not have two or even three votes each on this one, as the quality of applicants deserve that imho.

Hey I don't think this is very fair at all. Also this isn't in relation to the premier league.

CSF I demand that you retract that post of yours or else do posts for everyone involved.

In light of moderator action I'd like to apologise to CSF for demanding that he retract his post and for telling him what to do. I'm sure his feelings were impinged greatly.

CSF, I don't think it's particularly fair that you attach such threads and single me out. Perhaps, if possible, and if you don't mind, you might be able, again if it's ok with you to maybe alter your post ever so slightly as casts me in ever so bad of a light, again as long as you don't have a problem.

    Thanks.

I didn't reflect any light on you, unless you're in agreement with my opinion of the posts. If you stand by the sentiment then I don't see the problem?

Not only is what you're doing childish, but the loi has nothing to do with the pl tbh.

Mitch Connor for me, top top poster.

Twas a toss up between Slick and Mitch for me.Alas there wasnt a Slick Mitch option so Mitch got my vote however I would like to say that either of them would be a sterling addition.

In fairness to bamboozling he did come back and try to argue his point. Maybe posts like the one in that thread and the Hargreaves post in the United thread aren't the ideal ones to be making when trying to win a poll on the internet?

    Alright,

The Bam Man wants your vote, he's young, he's hip and he's it.

This is one cool cat who's not afraid to ruffle feathers.

He's made quite an impact on the soccer forum and wants to keep that way.

He has shown his knowledge of Manchester geography.

He has always shown his knowledge on all things premier league, in particular his first love, Liverpool, and they're arch enemy Manchester United.

He organised the premier league draft this year, spearheading the movement and acting as the beacon of leadership that this forum so valuably needs.

He also had one of the posts of the year.

The Bam Man wants your vote for his consistently outstanding contributions to this soccer forum that we all so love and cherish.

The Bam Man is your man.

    How's that 15?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 2,784 ✭✭✭#15

Not bad. You will lose the Manchester and LoI votes though, and they will be key demographics in this race.:pac:

Who were the other two people who voted for Bamboozling, bar himself?

Shocking. Should be named and shamed.

Good point. Polling shows so far though that I will split the Liverpool vote and I'll get some second and third preference votes of Arsenal and Chelsea fans. I'm also projecting a high vote amongst the City fans.

    Will you vote for me?

Would you believe I didn't actually vote for myself. And why is it so shocking?

Your posts are rubbish, often provocative and offensive.

You would offer nothing to this committee. Your knowledge of the EPL is contaminated in your bias, your hated of Manchester United and your love of Liverpool. You have shown nothing bar a confrontational style of posting on the topic of Manchester United, the most successful team in the EPL.

Your election onto this committee would make a mockery of it's existence. While I'm not swinging with the idea of this thing, I'd at least like to see it given a chance in operation and with you on board, it destroys it from the start.

So give your number one to.... Mitch Connor.

I didn't think I posted like that. If you had some examples, maybe it might help me to alter my style.

While I do love Liverpool, I wouldn't say I hate United, more of a dislike. I think I'm very knowledgeable on the Premier League, in fact I'd say I'm relatively knowledgeable on other leagues, in particular Argentina.

Again I refute your point that my election would make a mockery of this committee. I feel I would enhance this committee no end. You don't however and that's your perogative.

    All the best,

    The Bam Man,
    Your No.1 in Sport.
