Anybody know when the county council pay the registration fee to the college?I'm a second year student and last year it wasn't paid until february!however I did get a letter from the council saying mine didnt need to be reviewed which gave me the impression that its going to be quicker this year!I heard that if you haven't paid fees by the end of october that your student card no longer works!I'm just wondering would I be better off finding some alternative way to pay ASAP rather than relying on the council to pay It early.

End of October? Pretty sure they give you 4 months to pay. I wouldn't worry about it once you have the grant.

If you got the grant last year you don't have to worry about the reg fee this year - the college will automatically bill your county council for you. You just need to pay the capitation fee of €150.
