My partner & i are thinking of setting up home together. Any idea what the rent allowance is for a couple? Would it be easier to claim separately in a 2 bed place? My other half is off work thru an injury but im only on a FAS course and i get a rent allowance where i am at the moment.

if yee are setting up home together why would yee be claiming separately and not as a couple.

well ive only ever claimed for myself. If we got a 2 bed place we may not get full allowance right? We have no kids.
