Ive been doing WW for 3 years.. lost a stone and a half and got to goal. For the last 2 years Ive been stuck on the same weight and I just seem to go up and down within a pound or 2 each week at weight ins and its really starting to fustrate me... I really want to lose a half stone (doesnt seem like much) but I cant for the life of me do it. Really need some tips, Ive been researching the GI diet and Im wondering if anyone has ever tried it, any tips and has anyone been successful on it? Thanks!! :)

The GI diet, if done properly, should suit you. Base your meals on fresh whole foods, not necessarily low fat food with a lot of refined carbs, and you'll see results. My gripe with WW is not the support etc, which is great, but the point system itself, which tends to over-point anything with high fat, even if it's something like avocado or mackerel, and under-point low fat food like rice cakes.

Just remember that there are some low GI foods which are not an asset to you. I believe Snicker bars are very GI, and so is some ice-cream, but it doesn't mean they should be a mainstay of your diet.

Thanks for the reply, just find ww very boring now after doing it constantly for 3 years, I also think the scales are rigged as Im 2 pound lighter on every other scales!! I know that once I get into the swing of something new I will be fine... I know I can do this once I put my mind down to it... I also find that 29 propoints is not enough and often find myself hungry in the evening... weekends are a disaster!!!
