I have a Meade 4501, and a 35mm SLR camera. I have a nice adaptor for it to use with the Meade. However I have a problem.

After I find a shot I want I use a remote (cable) release on the camera to avoid "shake" But the camera tends to pull the scope offline with it's weight.

Any suggestions at all would help. Oh and what film do you recommend? 'Wet' film is not so easy to come by these days, especially where I am living.

I know you young ones won't know what the heck I am talking about, but maybe one or two of you 'old timers' may know.

Anyway I am happy to have any helpful suggestions you care to give.
