Got turned down due to the fact I have completed a FETAC Level 5 Cert before :(

I was applying for another level 5 with the vision of doing the level 6 course of the same subject next year and then going to level 7.

Its been nearly 3 years since I done my last level 5 course but from what I can find on the net the level 5 certificate is the highest that can be obtained in that subject.

Anyone else ever have this happen?

I appealed the decision and I'm glad to say I'll be receiving BTEA and I'll be going to college :D

Fair play Black Ninja, I know someone in a very similar situation to yours, and she's on tenterhooks waiting to hear back about the appeal. Beast of luck in school :)

Thank you :) Was really nervous myself. If I didn't get it there would have been no college for me

    Congrats Black Ninja,

How long does it take before the Dept of Soc Protection make a decision?

I applied last Monday (August 22nd) and heard back Friday (August 26th) saying I wasn't eligible.

Sent off my letter for a review on Monday just gone (29th August) and got a phone call with the good news I was granted it today (August 31st)

    Very quick process
