Does anybody have information on this course?

Is the course interesting and are the lecturers boring or interesting?
How many are in a typical lecture?
How many lecture hours a week?
Are there any societies associates with this course?
Where do people get placements for the 3rd year and do the college help you get the placements?
Anything else that might be of interest.

I would really appreciate any feedback. Thanks

I started a new thread as nobody answers the queries in the thread dedicated to course information.

Hey I do Politics and public Admin.(The only main difference is arasmus for us is optional and we can do Law+Sociology or Eco+Managment)

Some public admin,Poli and Sociology lectures can toll on quite a bit but it really depends on the topic and lecture.

Depending on the module it can range anywhere between 80-400 people with about 8-12 people per tutorial.

I had 15 in first year and I'm pretty sure Poli&Ir had 14.

Well it depends on what your interested. If you want to get involved in politics both Ogra Fianna Fail and Young Fine Gael are quite active. There is Socialist youth but it apparently only has like 3 active members.

History or Law soc might interest you and stretching it a lil the development soc.

For Co-Op in 3rd year you can do it either way really I think. You dont have to worry till 2nd year about it anyway.

As for anything else. You may hold a true interest in politics but the stuff does tole on quite a bit sometimes.Do your readings, especially for Poli Sci and Public Admin as you dont want to build stuff up.

Also for another note you missed out on one of the greatest lectures ever....Come back Luke!
