    That's great.

Is there a point to this?

Just looking at all the questions. Looks as if your tax codes or laws are in line with the USA. Tax codes are not for the layman.
In 2010 the U.S. tax code is 71,684 pages in length. Then we have the States with their tax codes.

I've heard a quite few commentators in the US discuss the complexity of the US tax code. The was a film made about it last year called http://aninconvenienttax.com/

We have different tax acts that cover different tax heads, so not all tax heads are covered in the same "tax code".

I was under the impression in all the UK tax was taken from what was collected on sales. I now see you have to file which is in line with the US.
    Not going anywhere with this.
    Thanks

Ah well- you see you might have a problem with your understanding there.

Ireland is not part of the UK.
