Sony Ericsson x10 turning off?

My x10 seems to turn itself off every now and then however I dont think it actually turns off. It quays happens when your doing something never when the phone is idle it just goes dead totally unresponsive and the screen turns off. It wont turn on again unless you remove battery therfor I think its crashing or something…

You cant recieve calls when it is in this state.
