    Hi lads,

I'm repairing a laptop with what seems like a failed hard drive... The owner told me that is was out of warranty but I've put it through the website and it has "5 Day Consumer Hardware Support" up until 2012...

I've looked on the website everywhere but I cant find out what exactly this means.. Does anybody know?

    thanks,
    J

I *think* it means they turn the faulty laptop around within 5 days of receiving it at their service centre.

In case anybody else is looking this up, I rang Dell today and they said that they would send me out a new hard drive tomorrow.. And I give them the old hard drive.. The guy on support was very helpful, though he did leave me on hold for quiet a while.
