    Hey,

I had not gamed with my TM SG1 in aprox 1.5 years. Over the weekend I chrono'd it and it was hitting avg 200fps with .20. Originally it was bang on 325 with the same.

Few lads said it was most likely the spring. What spring can I purchase to get it back on form and suggestions of where?

    Thanks!

I'd say it's the piston head O-Ring receded reducing the volume of air behind the BB.

I would sincerely doubt that it's the spring

How would I check that? Take it apart and see if it looks screwed?

I've only taken it apart once, many moons ago :)

Simply spray some silicone oil into the air nozzle, and fire on full auto for a while - then re-test on the chrono

    ;)
Exactly what he said - works almost every time.
If it's stock TM and not messed with it's most likely just some crud and a dry o-ring aorund the piston head. The silicone oil will relube it and give you a better seal.

    Will try that. Cheers.

    It's not a stock SG1 either, has a 1J upgrade.
