Just after getting my results from my Masters and went down in one subject Audit by 2% to get the 50%. Personally i believe i got the exemption as i did a very good paper but that is now beside the point.

I was wondering how many exams to i have to do now to get my ACCA Fully. In class we were always told ACA was the best and the one to do but now i have to re-assess my career. I am sickened of ACA and not putting myself through the torture again.

Anyone else have previous expierence or advice?

Would you get it rechecked? Seen as you think you did a good paper it might be worth the chance. Do you have to get above 50% in all Masters subjects to get the Cap 2 exemptions? A Masters give you exemptions only from the Fundamental Papers 1-9. You would still have to do the 5 Professional Papers.

I going to try and get it re-checked as i believe in my personal opinion that their was no way i didn't get over 50% in this subject.

Yes 50% in all subjects to get full cap 2 exemption but i don't think i have the will and go do audit again. I certainly believe i got it clearly but someone else does not. After a crushing blow like that its very hard to even rev your self up for even the possibility.

Can you give me more insight into what entails the 5 professional papers

Are you starting a contract in the coming weeks or are you just about to begin looking? Alot will depend on the firm you join and the policy they have with regards exams etc!!!

Would it be possible to repeat the exam next year?

If its just the one subject, I would definitely look into it. I did a masters this year and there were a few people, who had completed the masters the previous year repeating the one subject while doing their training contract in the firm.

They only paid to sit the paper and not the module again.

Considering most people with Cap 2 exemptions don't sit FAE's until year 2 of the training contract, you wont be at a disadvantage. And especially with audit it should be relatively easy to get it next summer.

I am not sure if you are able to repeat the sole subject next year. I was wondering does anyone know if you can???....

    Thanks in advance
