All the talk lately is about debt forgiveness and the talk about the euro crisis seems to be dissipated. Has it been sorted out or have the media in Ireland honed in another topic just ignoring the crisis, or is it still on going?

Still ongoing, but we seem to be sorted for the moment - and in classic style, it's a case of "pull up the ladder, jack, we're aboard". A lot of what was written about the euro crisis by our media was essentially a dramatic background setting for what was happening in Ireland.

To be fair, most people want to know what's happening near them, and the media tells/sells them that.

    cordially,

True - I'd expect a double-dip in any case, so there should be at least another major round of euro-excitement to go through. And a recession in the eurozone - or a global one - will of course push us back towards the danger zone.
