Dunaras village for first years?

Hi, Im starting my first year in NUIG this september and i booked dunaras village as it was the only one not booked out by the time i booked it as i was expecting to be going to UL. Im going to galway on my own as all my friends are going to different colleges :( Is dunaras nice and good for first years? Also any one else…

iv a question can you have a friend stay over in dunaras student accom.. im ment to be staying but i dont kno if im allowed or not

Not sure if they've changed since i was there, but I believe officially you're supposed to sign them in at the office etc... but they never check. There's no auchwitz style check point at the entrance or anything. Plus I think if you happen to have guests they'd rather not have to go through the paperwork in the office.
