New Meteor deals

    Hi All,

    Not sure if you aware of the new meteor deals.
    Basically 6 months half price on contract when you ring them.
    I went for €30 12 month deal for an S2

    6 * 15 = 90
    6 * 30 = 180
    Galaxy S2 = 149.99 (she said they'd refund €10 difference to online price so 139.99)

    €409.99 for a galaxy S2 all in with (200 texts, 200 mins & 1Gb data)
    €50 cheaper than buying it online through fatcheese.ie

    How can they money on this? considering phone alone is over €500
    I ordered mine last tuesday and delivered today.

    I got offered this back in early September. I was told that the offer wouldn't kick in until the 2nd month on my contract. Now I am fighting with meteor to try and get this offer. They are telling me that they never had an offer like this. The problem I have is the sales guy told me about the offer over the phone and I have nothing in writing. Is there anything I can do to either force them to give me this offer or terminate this contract. Do you have any documentation to support that this was on offer back in August/September. It would really help me out.
