Art activities for preschool

    Just finished college and have gotten myself a new job in na creche. As part of my planning I have to think of different art and crafts ideas for pre school children for the month of september... Im finding this hard. It should deal with themes such as family friendships manners etc... anyone got any ideas?? Greatly appreciated!

    You could do a friendship tree, children draw around their hands and place them on a tree trunk (made by you or the children) leaves could be coloured in to link with autumn leaves too!

    Hi Swizzle123, I ordered this book from amazon and got it the other day. It looks great from a quick read through, lots of different themes with arts & crafts and activities to go with each theme, and its all broken into months so its appropriate for the time of the year and also shows apporpriate age group for each activity. As I said I have only just recieved it so havent tried anything from it yet but at a glance it looks good. Have a look it might be worth getting as its not too expensive.
