So was anyone over there in rainy Scotland?

Is Adam Riches any good? Deserving of the award?

Did anyone see any of the shortlisted acts for the big Fosters or the newcomers award? Personally, due to a bout of illness I didn't get to go over to Scotland but I look forward to people on boards bitching and moaning about comedians who have made both shortlists even though they have never actually seen them live.

    Big Award:

Andrew Maxwell: The Lights Are On
    Chris Ramsey: Offermation
Josie Long: The Future Is Another Place
    Nick Helm: Dare to Dream
    Sam Simmons: Meanwhile

    Best Newcomer:

    Cariad Lloyd: Lady Cariad’s Characters
The Chris and Paul Show (Chris O’Neill and Paul Valenti)
Hannibal Buress - My Name is Hannibal: The Hannibal Montanabal Experience
    Holly Walsh: The Hollycopter
Josh Widdicombe: If This Show Saves One Life
Thom Tuck Goes Straight to DVD
    Totally Tom

I saw Sam Simmons and Hannibal Buress while over there. I'd give each 5/5, Sam Simmons being particularly noteworthy, best thing I've ever seen at the Fringe.

I really wanted to see Nick Helm but it clashed with a show I was doing.

    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aK5eljgUvMw, he seems pretty good.

From our side Damo Clarke, Conor O'Toole and Trevor Browne all had funny and interesting shows that received a lot of 4 and 5 star reviews, well deserved.

    Josie Long

Does anyone here find her even remotely funny?
