Never heard a thing about this movie, and I see it there tonight in some random movie video on youtube.

This move is epic, and goes straight into my top ten. The end was so emotional and it also had an awesome cast. I hope other people enjoyed as much I did?

I only watched it recently for the 1st time aswell. i thought it was a stunning film. the cast was excellent, I think Kevin Bacon is hugely under-rated but this film has everything. Sean Penn can do no wrong in my eyes, he is a terrific actor! if you want to see another good one he is in, watch Milk! BRILLIANT FILM

It is an excellent movie. The cast was superb and Clint kept the pace/drama/emotions etc ticking over perfectly. Hate using the phrase, but its a "modern day classic".

Superb film, as are the majority of Eastwood's films. Loved how the dynamic between the three main characters worked.

Yep it's a good film alright but in my top ten, not a chance.

    Good film but no masterpiece.

And 'Gone, Baby Gone' as well as plenty of other Kenzie and Gennaro novels.
Mystic River is his best book though, and Clint made a brilliant adaptation

I found its extremely predictable and underwhelming, good cast though, but no masterpiece in anyway..

In fairness it won a couple of actor Oscars and was nominated all the big ones so it got some notice when it was released

I liked it, but it wouldn't be something I'd re-watch too many times. The acting is as good as you'll see though

I rememeber feeling weirdly proud when Penn's charachter mentions Barry's Tea in the shop.
