Self explanatory. What was the last thing you searched for in a search engine? Mine: Fred Elliott. Don't ask. It wasn't anything perverted anyway!

It's a really tricky one! And I'm a DEMON for wanting to spell words properly! Why do you often see the 'oe' and of that word really tiny in some books? Is it something to do with type writers or what's the story???

I noticed that while doing LC French, the word in French for egg is oeuf, but it was always written with the o and the e kind of 'joined together'.

I looked it up online, and it's a ligature of the letters o and e, often used in French: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/%C5%92

So the proper spelling of manoeuvre appears to be manœuvre, although I think either is acceptable.

That whole unplugged gig is well worth having a listen to. It was the last proper time they ever played with Staley before his drug habit spiralled out of control.

I wanted to know more about a piece of classical music: Doctor Gradus ad Parnassum by Debussy. Pretentious, moi? Not exactly, since Debussy wrote his piece to make fun of the boring Gradus ad Parnassum piano lesson books he had had to learn as a kid. Look at what the poor 6-year-old pianist has to do, and tell me Debussy wasn't high on something when he wrote this:

You are the type of what the age is searching for, and what it is afraid it has found. I am so glad that you have never done anything, never carved a statue, or painted a picture, or produced anything outside of yourself! Life has been your art. You have set yourself to music. Your days are your sonnets.

―Oscar Wilde predicting Social Media, in The Picture of Dorian Gray
