I am shocked and saddened to hear of the passing away of Paddy Paget and wish to tender my sincere condolences to his family and many friends. He was one of the true gentlemen of darts. His jovial disposition and unassuming good nature was endearingly refreshing in the sometimes overly serious field of competitive darts. Paddy was for many years the driving force of the famous "Long Island" darts team. I played with them for a couple of years and have many fond memories of those times. Paddy was an excellent darts player in the golden age of Dublin darts. May he rest in peace.
