Torres to score a hatrick today, kiss the badge & take off his jersey to reveal an " I heart Roman" t-shirt.

Mata to come off the bench, score one, make one and then sing "Blue Moon" whilst wearing a "Free the Modric One" shirt

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 3,386 ✭✭✭smuckers

3-0 Mata to come off the bench and set one up, Torres to get a brace followed by Malouda.

Would love to see young Josh get a start today, and Frank can't really complain if he's the man to make way for him.

I reckon Mata could start, Chelsea seriously lacking creativity from midfield.

    Sub I reckon.
Gee, if we need Mata to beat Norwich, then (famous last words), we are in deep deep dodoo

Ye only scraped a win against West Brom though. But yeah, there shouldn't be any problem beating Norwich if Mata is on the bench.

AVB said he needed more time to adapt to the intensity of the English game so I'm not hopeful that he'll start. Would love it if he did.

Can't wait to see Lukaku. Hope he plays at some stage.

Aye we were away from home though, ye were at the Bridge. Bit of a difference in fairness!

Yes the home crowd is an advantage but WBA did very well that day as they did last week too, very organised.

Norwich usually play a diamond midfield which may leave them exposed to Boswinga and Cole bombing down the wings if they line out like that today. I think Chelsea will win this one by three or four, they have had huge amounts of possession in their two opening games only to be frustrated by organised Stoke and West Brom set ups.

They should be able to convert the possession into goals today at home to Norwich.

They are a very organised team alright, but you would definitely have expected Chelsea to have made shorter work of them them than ye did at the Bridge. That's all I was saying! Do you not agree?

I expect a christmas card for keeping Modric out of the team for ye as well!

Anyway, Chelsea 3 - Quiz of the weekers, Nicolas Parsons 0

Uninteresting fact of the day - I nearly lived in Norwich you know - lucky escape!

    What a bizarre post.

Where is the hating? All that was said was Chelsea are lacking creativity in their midfield and that they were expected to win against West Brom at the Bridge alot more comfortably than they did. Do you not agree?

Well yea I do agree I was expecting 2-0 or 3-0 but it doesn't always work out that way.

Dont mind him Blatter - I found it strange as well.

I'll be needing a streamy for this, not got Setanta. Any recommendations?

One eye on the laptop and one on the TV for the egg chasing.

Cheers Sarge, I enjoy you popping into the United thread myself. The forum would be crap if rival fans weren't there to keep eachother in check every now and again.

I fancy Torres to score today, and Chelsea better win, picked them in the last man standing comp and have them in an accumulator;)

Seems a bit harsh on Anelka, I thought he looked a lot more threatening than Torres last week, was making good runs in the box throughout the match while Torres was forever ending up with the ball in no mans land.

    WTF!!! 4-4-2 diamond?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 341 ✭✭superfrank

    Torres & Drogba starting...bold move!

Di Santo bagged a brace for Wigan so anything can happen today!

    Wow statement of intent.
    Will Torres score now?
Will Drogba actually pass to Torres? (Probably not!)

Expect a change in formation once Mata comes on

Anelkas linked to a move away btw

    Oh the anticipation.

Who will we see first off the Chelsea bench?

    Young Josh?
    Mata?
    Lukaku?

.......... The boards up. It's....It's.... Paulo Ferreira

    Hope I'm wrong.

There is a great chance we will see lukaku, mata and josh today, at least 2 hopefully. Also good to see ivanovich ahead of alex and no kalou, YESSSS. formation is interesting, matching up with norwich.

Such an Ancelotti thing to do, 10 minutes left, 1-0 down, Paulo Ferreira starts warming up...

10-9 to Norwich. 4 goals for Torres and 5 for Bosingwa. All their goals set up by each other. Sound.
