Feeling under pressure

    Hi guys,
Well without going into too much detail basically I am living with girls that put me under pressure a lot to do stuff. they are lovely girls. However, I will admit, I like my personal space, I like doing my own thing-this includes exercising and cooking for myself.
but say for example they want to go out this thursday for a fancy meal. I have eating issues I will admit-which are being sorted. But this place is so expensive and will include a 4 course meal. I don't want to go. I don't want to make excuses either.
I also am not fond of going out on a working week, I will now and again. But I always feel I have to answer to them and if I don't go out I am the worst in the world.
    Any advice?

As you have mentioned cooking, exercising and food issues in a few breaths, it is probably your eating distress that is the cause of your stress and the sense of being pressurised, rather than the girls who you live with.

Try challenging the condition by doing scary things with them like eating and exercising from time to time. Normal, healthy and recovered people eat together and exercise together.

Having said that you are perfectly entitled to do as you please as an adult and entitled to your space. When you simply can't face it, just say thank you, but you have other plans.
