Holywell Hill and Brougher Mountain both use channel 30 for digital television transmissions.

At my location, on the west side of Omagh, when I tried HH for digital the pictures were completely unusable - freezing, blocking, etc.

On the other hand, at my friend's house about half a mile away, also on the west side of Omagh, the HH ch 30 pictures are, for the most part, perfectly watchable.

    Is there an explanation?

How is his reception of Brougher Mt. CH 30?

    * Better shielding from the signal from Brougher? (e.g. terrain)
    * Better received signal from Holywell Hill?
    * Received aerial pointed to Holywell Hill has better off-beam rejection?
    * Tuner can deal with co-channel better?

Many thanks for the replies. One or more of those factors is the probable explanation, then.
