Looking for some advice on interview questions. I have an interview for a part time position in a sweetshop. They also sell touristy merchandise and hot food. I have no experience so any tips on how to big myself up would also be appreciated. :o Any tips on what could be asked.

I was also wondering if I should bring anything with me. Should I Bring a copy of my cv with me?

Also on my CV I put references available on request. Only problem is I have none. Up until now I have been childminding for family. So what should I do here?

It's been awhile since I've done a retail interview but it will be basics like -

    -Tell me about yourself
    -Strengths and weakness
-how you had to deal with a stressful situation/disgruntled customer
-A time when you showed team work
-A moment when you showed excellent customer service
    -Have you worked around hotfood?
-What would you do if somebody said you gave the wrong change?

You can bring your CV and any other qualification or award you put on your cv.

And for a reference you can use school principle, youthclub/sport team coach. I know somebody who even used a neighbour. If you want you can pretend you you done something like dancing and give somebodies number pretending to be your dance coach.

Just be friendly and confident, and try come up with answers for the questions somehow relating them to a past experience, "I dont know" or acting really shy are bad things.
