Hi I have a few questions about my SRC g36c:
1-What version gearbox does it take?
2-will this motor fit in it http://shop.ehobbyasia.com/gandp-ak-m120-high-speed-motor-short.html and will it run fine without any other internal upgrades?
3-What will I need to do to make it LiPo ready?
    Thanks

    mosfet
    bearings or metal bushings(preferably berings)
    reinforced piston
    high speed motor and gears.
am you could go on but there the essentials for running 11.1 lipos.
if its a 7.4 it should work grand the way it is.
you run an 11.1 lipo n it now you will strip either you gears or piston or both...

Okay well when it comes to bearings and bushings I am completely lost. What do they do?Where in the gearbox do they go?What does the size difference mean, e.g 6mm, 7mm, 8mm?

And also would these be okay for the gears and piston http://shop.ehobbyasia.com/shs-super-high-speed-gear-full-tune-up-set-for-g36-g36c-series-aeg-3-teeth-piston.html
and where could I get an active braking MOSFET?

What do you want out of the use of a LiPo battery? ROF, Trigger Response? If it's the latter, a good high C count 7.4 will do wonders, whilst doing away with the need for any upgrade work, as it is comparable to a high quality 9.6v battery.

If it's the former, then you'll be looking at reinforced gears, reinforced gearbox shell, reinforced piston. Basically the extra juice will be cycling everything much faster, so general wear and tear will increase...a lot. Parts will have to be replaced more regularly, and that's pretty much it. The main reason people say stay away from 11.1 is because it is unnecessary.

Personally speaking, a good 7.4 is all you need

Yeah to be honest I think I'll just leave the LiPo and get a good quality 9.6v battery and a G&P m120 motor.
