Freeview TV only picking up Sound

Hi.

I have a TV with built in Freeview and am using an aerial. A while back I done a scan for digital stations and nothing showed, I have since moved house and tried a scan the other day just out of curiosity. It picked up sound for Irish stations but no picture, is this normal? Is there any way to get picture or do I need the box?

You need a box. Your TV is old UK standard (MPEG2 video). Saorview (Irish Digital) uses MPEG4 - not the same. Get a Bush Saorview box in Argos for €50 (the cheapest out there).

The fact that you are getting audio is good that it shows you are getting the signal. You just need the box and connect it to your existing setup and aerial and you will get the picture and the audio.
