gunshots, speeding cars and sirens

    was asleep just there and woke up :mad: hearing distant [couple of km it sounded like] gunshots, then a few minutes later speeding car [getaway style!] and then sirens somewhere further back

    Bray area, anyone hear anything similar? sounded unusual timing for all three, and having seen the thread on strange stuff on wellington quay cops everywhere and fire engines got me wondering is something up?

    The terrorists have taken Bray. Hopefully we can get rid of the rest of Wicklow before the week is out.

    looks like the guards foiled them in wellington quay see Dublin forum, it was around the same time too
