Hi, Water went for 3 days, water tanks emptied while gone. Water now back and all ok except for downstairs loo, its not refilling?? Obviously air locked but how do ye clear it??:confused: Thanks in advance..

You might have some cr*p in the fill valve, depending on what type turn off water to cistern and then check the valve outlet for debris.

Any chance the ball cock is 'stuck' at bottom of cistern (after 3 days of no water) and just needs to be raised a little by hand?

if you have a wash hand basin located beside the the wc and the wash hand basin has a cold water supply. Its more than likely you have dirt in the filler valve.

Thanks for the help folks, was airlocked. Took off connection at bottom of cistern and did a bit of siphoning, got a bit wet but have a fully funtioning toilet again!
