Getting out there as a make-up artist and wax therapist

Ive been actively trying to get a business going as a make up artist and wax therapist and was wondering if anyone has any tips to get out there? I've business cards, a website and a facebook page. I've a few weddings coming up which should hopefully help with word of mouth but does anyone have any more advice? Thanks:)

you are doing all you can really! although i am in the beauty industry a while now and i have never heard of a make up and wax therapist ! maybe seperate the both, advertise as a make up artist then say also available for waxing! try model mayhem to advertise and meet models and photographers to get looks for your portfolio then try make up counters for employment
