    Hi all,

I am looking for a whole tree about 16-20 ft high with a decent diameter (ideally 1ft but 8" is ok) for an art project I am working on making bowls. I dont want firewood or logs, looking for the tree in approx 1ft to 2ft sections.

Anyone know where I could source something like that?

The only thing I can think of is try getting onto some of the Community Colleges where they are doing a wood turning course and ask them where they source their wood. Presume you are looking for well dried wood?

Try asking in the Farming & Forestry or Woodcraft forums.
