Slow connection speeds

I seem to be having trouble with my newly installed Asus PCIe-N10 wireless card. I am getting consistantly slow connection speeds, rarely over 20kbps. Signal strength doesn't seem to be the issue, around 4 bars most of the time. I've gotten the latest driver from the ASUS downloads page but no joy there, speeds are still…

Any baby monitors / wireless video transmitters nearby?

They can cause problems with wireless cards.
