    Canada has a points system, like the CAO. Get enough points, you get a visa. Easier than the US.

    Irish passport holders are also exempt, if I remember correctly the only country requiring a visit visa for an Irish passport holder and not a British passport holder is Afghanistan.

    Best way to go about living there? Plane, I'd say. Boat'd take too long, and is probably more expensive.

    You're Visa free for 90 days. Be cute and try and get something going in that time. But don't overstay unless you're on a good number.
