Florence to Fiesole

I will be attending a wedding in Fiesole in September and need to know the best way to get there from Florence, where I will be arriving by train. I've heard that the number 7 bus goes there but not sure if it would be easier to just jump a cab. Anyone have any ideas/advice?

I took the bus there a few years ago, it was cheap and easy. I think maybe it was from the main train station, Santa Maria Novella. From the bus, I got a nice view as it climbed up the hill, something I don't think I would have experienced in a taxi. It was a wonderful spot, enjoy!
