    Looking for a wedding band to play in the Johnstown House Hotel in May/June 2012, has anyone any recommendations and please pm me the details including price

    Hi Dave, Band usually have different pricing for weekends and weeknights so it might be handy to specify which you will have.

    There are tons of bands out there, it all really depends on what you want. Springbreak, 20th Century Gold, Goodfellas are all very good

    Use to play with a band called Mob Fandango.

    If you're looking for funk/soul sort of music (e.g. James Brown, Stevie Wonder etc) get onto them. They also usually do a selection of whatever the wedding party want

    Best of luck with the search - unfortunately I only know of cork bands to recommend but travel expenses for those, you'd probably find same quality up your area.

    Yep among other gigs they have a residency in the Mezz in town every Sunday (maybe every second Sunday).

    We just booked The Black Knights to play at our wedding in Johsntown House in March (very short notice!) and they are amazing!

    Goodfellas are a great band. http://www.goodfellasband.ie/ i've been to 2 wedding where they played and i highly recommend.
